Likely inspired by my childhood dream to become an architect, one of my hobbies now is urban sketching. I sit down on a curb or outdoor bench and draw what’s in front of me.
It could be anything, from an abandoned bike in Toronto to a famous landmark in a new city. This process allows me to fully immerse myself in different environments – I remember the weather, sounds, and conversations with people who stop to chat with me. Urban sketching helps me turn ordinary things into special memories.
